Meeting Information

We hold two evening meetings a month open to prospective members (July, August, November and December we have only one meeting - check the Calendar page to be certain).

 

General meetings are a time for our members to take some time for themselves away from the children, so no children please.  (babies, 6 months and under, are allowed) .

 

We cover a variety of topics - personal identity, career, financial, parenting, social programs, advocacy, household management and many others.

 

The First general meeting is held on the first Thursday of each month at the Fairfax County Government Center, near Fair Oaks from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.   Check the schedule of events in the lobby of the Government Center for the room location.

 

Our Second general meeting (not always held….check the Calendar page to be sure) is held on the third Wednesday of each month at Braddock Hall at the King’s Park Library in Burke from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

 

Occasionally the meeting date or location is changed due to other events.   Please check our Calendar of Events each month for meeting dates and topics.

 

For weather related cancellations:

We also may have informal daytime discussion meetings for our members which include such groups as Seasoned Moms and Mom & Tots. Please contact us for more information on these meetings.
